Make a SIF from Excel
Copy rows from Excel and paste them here in this order: employee ID (14 digits), routing code (9 digits), IBAN or card number, fixed pay, variable pay, unpaid leave days. Optionally add the 7 EVP allowances after them (housing, conveyance, medical, annual passage, overtime, other, leave encashment). Everything runs on your device.
- EDR rows: employee ID, 9-digit agent routing code, account/IBAN, pay start and end in the same month, days = end − start + 1, no negative amounts
- SCR row: last line, 9-digit routing code, file date YYYY-MM-DD, time HHMM, salary month MMYYYY matching every EDR
- SCR EDR count and total salary must match the EDR rows
- Currency must be AED
- File name: EmployerID + YYMMDD + HHMMSS + .SIF, matching the SCR row

Questions
Does this guarantee my bank accepts the file?
No. WPS also checks employer and employee IDs and routing codes against its master data, which only your bank can do. This catches the format mistakes that cause most rejections.
What is the SIF file name format?
The Central Bank's WPS guide names the file EmployerID (13 digits, zero-padded) + creation date YYMMDD + time HHMMSS + .SIF, for example 0000000123456260928113000.SIF. Emirates Islamic, Mashreq and DIB publish the same convention. Open your file with the button above and we check the name too.
Can I make a SIF from Excel?
